Chanderi Village has for many years been experiencing an unusual phenomena. This is about a mysterious woman known in the village as STREE who seems to appear every year for a few days during a Hindu festival. The mystery revolves around men disappearing with all their clothes left behind.
Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) is a happy go lucky small time tailor in the village. Vicky falls in love with a woman (Shraddha Kapoor) who does not belong to the village, but comes around the same time each year to investigate this mystery. Her behaviour however make his friends Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) and Jaana (Abhishek Banerjee) suspicious.
How will Vicky react to this situation? Will he be able to save his friend and other abducted men from Stree? How can Chanderi Village get rid of Stree? For all this and more watch Stree.
Stree is the first ever horror comedy movie in Bollywood. It is believed to be based on a real life phenomenon. Movie is more comical and less scary. Movie editing and direction are good. Director Amar Kaushik in his debut movie has done a fabulous job as he keeps the viewers entertained throughout. The story of the movie is good and well-written.
Rajkumar Rao once again gives a great performance as Vicky. Aparshakti Khurana and Shraddha Kapoor are good. Abhishek Banerjee is the surprise package and gives a great performance. Pankaj Tripathi once again leaves a mark. Vijay Raaz in his brief role is wonderful.
The music of the movie is ok with just two good songs Nazar Na Lag Jaaye and Milegi Milegi.
Overall Stree is an entertainer for everyone.

Crazy Rich Asians Movie Review
Nick (Henry Golding) who is based in USA has been invited for his best friend's wedding in Singapore, which also happens to be his hometown. Nick's girlfriend Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) who is in a relationship with Nick has also been invited for the wedding. Rachel is happy to accompany Nick for the wedding.
Nick's family is rich and wealthy. His siblings and cousins are quirky and dysfunctional except his sister Astrid (Gemma Chan) who is the matured of the lot. The socialites including friends of Eleanor (Michelle Yeoh) are also jealous of Rachel. Rachel is not from a very rich family.
Nick likes Rachel and wants to marry her, but Eleanor has some other plans for her son. She dislikes Rachel because she is too passionate about her own ambitions, unlike a local Singaporean girl. But Astrid supports Nick and Rachel's relationship.
Will Nick finally marry Rachel? Will Eleanor accept Rachel as her daughter-in-law? For all this and more you will have to watch Crazy Rich Asians.
The movie is an entertaining romcom based on a book by the same title. Movie editing is good. Movie reflects Singapore values and human emotions, though opinions of locals may differ.
All the actors have played their part well including the lead actors. Henry Golding makes a promising debut as Nick. Constance Wu, Michelle Yeoh and Astrid do a good job as well. All other actors have played their part well.
Direction of the movie is good by John M Chu showing good chemistry between the lead actors.
Crazy Rich Asians should pave way for more Asian movies in Hollywood.
Overall Crazy Rich Asians is a great watch for everyone and in particular the Singaporeans.
